We are proud to share a new virtual reality experience by filmmaker Jaehee Cho of Orta Interactive. A long-standing friend and collaborator of the Global Languages & Cultures Room, Jaehee’s virtual reality film looks at the rise of anti-asian hate crime and features an interview with Hong Lee, the co-founder of Seniors Fight Back a nonprofit organization providing support in the form of self-defense classes for those in the AAPI community. This film is challenging and potentially upsetting, especially to anyone affected by these issues. We provide a space for viewing the film and reflecting on its impact.
